Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Oğulcan Bagatır ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Ultravian — our website, our browser extension, and our mobile application (together, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information: You can sign in with email and password, or with Apple or Google. We receive your email address and a unique user identifier, and — if you sign in with Apple or Google and grant permission — your name. Passwords are handled entirely by our authentication provider (Supabase) or by Apple/Google; we never receive or store your password.
  • Game-related data you enter: the Travian server you select, your in-game username and village coordinates, tribe, troop counts, raid plans, target and operator lists, clan membership, and any feedback you submit. We do not ask for or store your Travian password, and Ultravian never logs into or acts on your Travian account on your behalf.

1.2 Public Travian Data

To power features such as the inactive-village finder, oasis finder, player search, and map, we ingest publicly available Travian data — primarily the official map.sql export that Travian publishes for each game world, plus public oasis and ranking pages. This is public game information (player names, village names, coordinates, populations, alliances), not data private to any Ultravian account.

1.3 Browser Extension & Bookmarklets

Our optional browser extension and bookmarklets run only on travian.com pages and only when you click them. They read information already shown on the page you have open — for example farm-list target coordinates from your Rally Point, or troop counts from your Troops overview — and copy it into Ultravian so you don't have to retype it. They do not run in the background, do not read your password, do not act on your account, and only carry the data you can see into Ultravian, where you confirm it before anything is saved.

1.4 Information Collected Automatically

  • Technical information: basic information needed to serve the app, such as browser or device type, app version, and language preference.
  • Mobile push token (mobile app only): if you use our mobile app and enable notifications, we store the push token issued by your device's notification service so we can send the reminders you opted into. The website and extension do not use push notifications.

1.5 Subscription & Purchase Information

  • On the web, subscription purchases are processed by LemonSqueezy. We pass your email and anonymized user ID to create a checkout; LemonSqueezy returns an order/subscription identifier and status. We never see your payment method or card details.
  • In the mobile app, purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play (with RevenueCat managing entitlement status). We receive a transaction identifier and your anonymized user ID; payment details are handled entirely by Apple or Google.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
  • Authenticate you and keep your data tied to your account
  • Sync your game data across your devices and platforms
  • Process subscription purchases and verify entitlement status
  • Send notifications or reminders you have opted into
  • Diagnose problems and fix bugs

We do not sell your personal information, share it with advertisers, or use it for cross-app tracking. Ultravian contains no advertising and no analytics trackers.

3. Third-Party Services

The Services rely on the following third parties. Each has its own privacy policy.

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting (on AWS infrastructure). Privacy policy

  • LemonSqueezy — subscription payments on the web. Privacy policy
  • Apple App Store / Google Play — subscription payments in the mobile app (subject to Apple's and Google's respective policies).

4. Cookies

The website uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies:

  • A session cookie that keeps you signed in (set by our authentication provider).
  • A language cookie that remembers your chosen interface language.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

5. Data Retention

  • Account and game data is retained for as long as your account exists.
  • If you delete your account (see Section 7), all personal data associated with your account is permanently deleted within 30 days.
  • Anonymized purchase records may be retained longer for tax and accounting purposes as required by law.

6. Data Storage and Security

  • Your data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure).
  • All data in transit is encrypted using TLS.
  • On the web, your session is kept in a secure browser cookie; in the mobile app, authentication tokens are stored using the device's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore).
  • We take reasonable measures to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and all associated data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent for optional data processing

To exercise any of these rights — including account deletion or receiving a copy of your data — contact us at the email below and we will action your request. In the mobile app, account deletion is also available under Settings.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under GDPR. If you are located in California, you have rights under CCPA. Both can be exercised through the same contact channel.

8. Children's Privacy

Ultravian is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Trademark Disclaimer

Ultravian is an independent, unofficial companion tool. Travian is a registered trademark of Travian Games GmbH. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Travian Games GmbH. All Travian trademarks and copyrights belong to their respective owners.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or via email. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
